desires of the organizer, but subjects typically included are:

- Autopilots and self steering
- Communications (VHF, Single Side Band, Other)

- Voyage planning and preparation
- Inside versus outside passages (East Coast)
- Division of duties
- On the hook or in a marina
- Safety (equipment, practices, & preparation)
- Island hopping versus overnight passages
- Watch systems that work for two people
- Provisioning
- What does it cost
- Spares, tools, and maintenance skills needed
- Stuff that works without paying "marine"

- Related activities (fishing, snorkeling,
SCUBA, etc)
- Having guests aboard
- Weather forecasts
Lynn and George have logged years aboard and
many thousands of miles under the keel cruising Southeast Asia, both U.S. coasts,
and the Bahamas but began
their long term cruising (months at a time instead of weeks at a time) recently enough that their experience is
relative to current conditions and are still fresh in their mind. They are both
experienced trainers and presenters.
