Crossing Back

We made the same crossing we did last year going 186 sea miles to West Palm Beach. It took us about 28 hour this year as the wind didn’t help as much. Three other boats made the same crossing, Bare Foot’n, Escargot, and Pacific Rose. We touched base by radio at each watch change and it was nice to know we were not alone, even though we frequently couldn’t see the other boats.

Lynn, who has been unable to sleep on night passages, was able to get some sleep during her off watch periods. She is becoming more and more comfortable away from shore.

Clearing customs and immigration went smoothly and we motored up to a favorite anchorage at North Lake Worth.
