(This photo was taken in February 2004 and sod was dormant. If I weren't so lazy, I would take a new one with green grass)

Sunspot Baby is backed into the slip and looks ready to throw off the lines and leave again. First, though, we need to service engines, do some cosmetic work on the interior, scrub the bottom, and fix the hot water heater.

We are looking forward to seeing our family and taking care of a few items at the house. We are also starting our list of To-Dos for the next cruise.

For cruise #3, like this year, we hope to expand the experience. We have done less diving and snorkeling than we hoped and maybe will fix that next year. Lynn will probably fish more and we will visit new places. We are spending more time offshore and making longer passages. This is a skill we need if we do longer range cruising in the future.

Toby is improving in “deck training” and will use the deck for #1 when we can’t get him to shore. We hope this continues and #2 follows since we end up in the dinghy some nights and mornings when it is really inconvenient. We also spend more nights in marinas because it makes his shore patrol easier. In some anchorages, it is just not possible to take him ashore.

We appreciate the interest of family and friends who have followed our progress, sent us email, and offered so much support.

Special thanks to:
