HOW SHE GOT HER NAME
Naming a boat is an interesting process. We had planned the purchase of a cruising boat for years, and so had established a long list of name possibilities.
After a lot of sifting through the list, we settled on Sunspot Baby. Sunspot Baby is a Bob Seger song that we both like. It is about a girl who took off, taking his credit cards and leaving him with her bills. It says in part
"You took my house and my name
Put my credit to shame
Sunspot Baby, sure had a real good time"

We thought that pretty well described the boat. So, there you are.
