ORIENTAL
Years ago we fell in love with the Oriental area of North Carolina. As we prepared to retire we compared many areas and Oriental was always on top.
When we bought the boat, we had not moved from Kentucky, but planned to go to Oriental, and thus we registered it as our hailing port.
When it came time to move, the right house at the right price was up the Neuse River near New Bern, but we still get to Oriental often both by land and by water.
