CRUISE REPORTS

Sometimes the dream of sailing tropical waters in our own boat seemed distant and unrealistic. Eventually, however, with planning, saving, and some good fortune, it was within our reach. While we are not old salts, we have now done enough cruising to realize we chose well when we bought Sunspot Baby.

Within a month of buying her in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, we took her offshore, into the Gulf Stream and sailed to North Carolina. We have now on our fifth fairly long cruises to the Bahamas and joined the Fairfield Harbour Yacht Club on a short cruise to Cape Lookout.
